Pregnancy Journal
These past 6 months have gone by so fast– growing a little human has been such a fun experience. In honor of this wonderful new chapter, here are some of my jotted down notes and photos throughout this time.
my pregnancy journal–
First and foremost, I’ve heard a lot of things about other people’s pregnancies by just being pregnant. As a woman if I casually heard these things as I do now, I would’ve appreciated them! So don’t be afraid to ask questions to anyone, at any point in your life. It’s nice knowing all the possibilities of what can be expected in a pregnancy and also, it’s just nice listening to someone else’s experience. You wouldn’t believe how fast these 9 months go and how much there is to learn.
I felt baby’s kicks a 22 weeks– I felt like a lot of people had them earlier but all pregnancies are different and that’s okay if you don’t feel baby until later!
I didn’t get any pregnancy symptoms, no nausea, food aversions, food cravings etc. thankfully! If anything I just get super tired (most 1st trimester and now 3rd)
See what best fits you, your partner and what you’d like your birth experience to be– hospital, birth center, home births to meeting all the gynecologist, midwives etc. and be proud of what your choice is. This will ultimately only affect you, so don’t let anyone else’s opinion hold you back from doing what you want to do!
Surround yourself with a positive community and support system that you know you can rely on
Set boundaries that best fit you, your partner and your baby
Think positively – pregnancy affirmations have helped me feel so strong, I highly suggest these. You wouldn’t imagine how much words have a big play in our hearts!
