Shooting on Film
“An immediate connection and saw something different when it came to the depth and coloring within the photos”
As of last month in March, I decided to swing by Wilson Camera to check them out. I recently followed them on Instagram and was inspired by their constant posts on their story and feed. I felt an immediate connection and saw something different when it came to the depth and coloring within the photos. I went in knowing I’d leave with a simple point and shoot, so I did! I purchased my very own small 28-90mm Pentax.
Since then, I’ve been completely in love with it! I now bring it everywhere and anywhere I go. I also have to say, I’m also obsessed with how easy it is for a love one to pick up and shoot with. I typically normally carry around my Sony A7 with a 28-90mm lens, which is a pretty solid and a complex thing, so I appreciate having this little film camera in my back pocket for anyone to enjoy! Plus, it has its own very (blinding) flash. It’s a forsure keeper! And a conversation starter, who wasn’t to love?
Below are a few gems caught on film– please enjoy.
